Real Housewife of Orange County Shannon Beador is Separated
People reports that Real Housewife of Orange Country Shannon Beador, 53, and husband David, 52, have separated after 17 years of marriage. The couple split a little over a month ago, which she announced that the Real Housewives of Orange Country reunion taping this week. Shannon told the following to People:
“It’s heartbreaking for me and my daughters that this is the road that had to be taken but it’s the only way. I felt alone in my marriage. You can do what you can to keep your family together, but you have to have willing parties. You need two people to make a marriage work, and that just wasn’t happening in our relationship.
We are doing our best to be amicable for our children. That’s our primary concern, to act in the best interest of our daughters I’m a strong person. At this point it’s scary, when you’re 53 years old, to be out there on your own. But I intend to show myself and my daughters that it can be done. I’m ready to get the old Shannon back, that’s for sure.”
David had an affair that started in 2014, and after attending couple's therapy to deal with that, the couple renewed their vows last year.

Tracee Ellis Ross recently sat down for an interview with Modern Luxury Magazine. Here's what she had to say:
On her work ethic:
“During the season [filming Black-ish], I don’t drink. I don’t see my friends. I have to let go of my social life. I use every spare moment to work or take care of myself. It’s a lot of work, but it’s also a dream—so much good stuff in my life comes from what I’m doing. The fact that I’m on my second long-running show is an absolute blessing. On top of that, our show is really good—it’s not just some sitcom about, ‘Oh, no, the pot roast has fallen on the floor!’”
On growing up with famous mother Diana Ross:
“I was very aware of the fact that my mom’s job was extraordinary. When you leave your mom’s work and people are banging on your car, or she’s standing onstage in a stadium filled with hundreds of thousands of people, it’s pretty clear. She never left us for more than a week—and if she was gone, we were in constant contact with her over the phone. When she was home, she would record after we had gone to sleep...I went to school with Ralph Lauren’s and Robert Redford’s kids—people whose parents are part of the fabric of American culture. So, as kids, that was taken off the table, and we got to be children.”
On what she shares in common with her mother:
“I saw a work ethic in her that I utilize now. I know how to handle myself and take responsibility. I know to be on time and show up...If I’m going on a trip, I pack my own bag, just like my mom used to. The kinds of things that you see happening on reality shows has never been the reality of my life.”
On keeping her private life private:
“I was raised during a time when there was a clear delineation between private and public. I had a sense of what was sacred and what was for sharing...There is a long-standing tradition of women being told that we have a duty to get married and have a child and be of service to our man. In general, I push up against all cultural norms in that I believe in equality and the idea that I get to actually choose the life that I want...To a certain extent, if you put that stuff out there, then people get to commen. Romantic relationships are challenging enough without other people having opinions about them.”

After 38 women came forward to reveal that director James Toback had sexual harassed them, actresses Selma Blair and Rachel McAdams spoke to Vanity Fair in detail about their own experiences with James Toback.
McAdams said, “I was 21 and in the middle of theater school when I met [Toback]. Theater school was a very safe space. [Toback] used the same language during my audition—that you have to take risks and sometimes you’re going to be uncomfortable and sometimes it’s going to feel dangerous. And that’s a good thing—when there is danger in the air and you feel like you are out of your comfort zone.”
Blair stated, “I still felt so powerless and scared. I kept thinking, ‘O.K., is there a big actress who is going to come out so that she can be the face of this? I want to bring as much awareness to this harassment as possible because I want Toback to be held accountable.”

TMZ reports that Tamar Braxton, 40, has filed for divorce from husband of almost 9 years Vincent Herbert, 44. The couple have one child together, son Logan Vincent, 4. Kit Harington Talks Sexism Again
Kit Harington recently sat down for an interview with The Guardian, where he re-addressed those comments he made last year about men facing just as much sexism as women do in show business. Here's what he had to say:
“I was wrong there, though. Sexism against men is not something I should have really said. I think what I meant was, being objectified. At that time, I did feel objectified, and now I’ve learned how to control that...Just shutting it down. Look, I do think men can get objectified. I do feel I have been objectified in the past, sexually as well, in pieces that have been written about me. Has that made me feel uncomfortable in the past? Yes. Do I think my position is the same as a woman’s in society? No. They’re very different things, and I should have separated them. I was wrong.”

“It’s not silly and it’s not vain. It’s a part of how the cancer and the treatment impacted her, and it was a real issue, even though she will always be the most beautiful woman in the world...I knew as soon as I met her that I wanted to grow old with her. I’m so grateful that I still can.”

Fats Domino Has Passed Away
Fats Domino has passed away at the age of 89 at his home in Harvey, Louisiana, across the Mississippi River from New Orleans. Domino had more than three dozen Top 40 pop hits through the 1950s and early ’60s, sold 65 million singles in those years, with 23 gold records, making him second only to Elvis Presley as a commercial force. In 1957, Presley said of Domino: “A lot of people seem to think I started this business. But rock ’n’ roll was here a long time before I came along. Nobody can sing that music like colored people. Let’s face it: I can’t sing it like Fats Domino can. I know that.” Domino is survived by his two sons, three daughters, an array of grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Kim Cattrall Still Talking About Sex and the City
For someone who says she has no interest in making another Sex and the City movie, she sure spends a lot of time promoting the idea of (not) making another one! Kim Cattrall recently appeared on Piers Morgan's ITV chat show, where she had this to say of her Sex and the City co-stars,as reprinted by Page Six:

Page Six reports that The Wynn is trying to woo Adele into a 12-month-long residency at their hotel. They are preparing to offer the singer $500,000 per performance, so just one show a week would get her $26 million, making her the highest-paid resident in Las Vegas. That current title belongs to Celine Dion at $475,000 per performance. Britney clocks in at $375,000.

Anna Faris recently opened up on her podcast Unqualified about being sexually harassed on set by a director. Here's what she had to say, as reprinted by Us Weekly:
“I was doing a scene where I was on a ladder and I was supposed to be taking books off a shelf and he slapped my ass in front of the crew so hard. And all I could do was giggle. I remember looking around and I remember seeing the crewmembers being like, ‘Wait, what are you going to do about that? That seemed weird.’ And that’s how I dismissed it. I was like, ‘Well, this isn’t a thing. Like, it’s not that big of a deal. Buck up, Faris. Like, just giggle.’ But it made me feel small. He wouldn’t have done that to the lead male.
I remember that same director telling my agent, who told me, that I had great legs and that was one of the reasons that I got hired. And listen, that’s a fucking great compliment. I like my legs. But that sort of informed my whole experience with that whole project. I don’t think the male lead got hired because he had great legs...We’re conditioned to giggle. But also, if we were to do anything else, we’d be labeled a bitch or difficult. It puts everyone at ease. That’s the defense mode you go into."
Scandal star Tony Goldwyn recently opened up about being sexually harassed, as reprinted by Variety:
“It happened to me when I was literally Lupita’s age in my last year of acting school. It happened to me by a man, and it wasn’t as extended and awful as what Lupita went through, but it was the same thing. It was the casting couch and I didn’t understand what was going on, what was happening — I thought it was my fault. I thought I was misunderstanding the situation … It took me a couple of years to get over it.”
In related news, The Guardian reports that photographer Terry Richardson has been blacklisted by Vogue and the rest of Conde Nast and by a few designers after two decades of allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior at photoshoots.

Robert Guillaume Has Passed Away
Emmy-winning actor Robert Guillaume has passed away at the age of 89 after a battle with prostate cancer. He is best known for playing Benson, first on Soap, and then on its spinoff Benson, which ran from 1980 until 1986. Guillaume won two Emmys for the role. Guillaume suffered a stroke in 1999 on the set of Sports Night, the critically acclaimed Aaron Sorkin series. In a 2008 interview, Guillaume stated, "I was fortunate in the sense that the stroke I suffered was not so debilitating that I could not move around with some degree of regularity. My wife Donna suggested to Aaron that perhaps we could incorporate the stroke into the series and he agreed … it allowed me to come back and not pretend that I had not had a stroke." Guillaume is survived by his second wife, TV producer Donna Brown Guillaume; one son (another died in 1990); and three daughters. Read his full obituary at The Hollywood Reporter.

People reports that Jaime Pressly, 40, and boyfriend Hamzi Hijazi have welcomed twin boys together. Their sons Leo and Lenon were born on October 16th. The couple has been dating for six years. Pressly is already mom to son Dezi James, 10, with ex-fiance Eric Calvo.
Billy Joel is a Father Again
Just days after announcing they were expecting, Page Six reports that Billy Joel, 68, and fourth wife Alexis Roderick, 35, have welcomed their second child together. Their daughter Remy Anne was born on Sunday. The couple, married since 2015, are already parents to daughter Della Rose, 2. Joel is also father to Alexa Ray Joel, 31, with second wife Christie Brinkley.
