Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Traction In The Bedroom

This blind item provides an interesting peek into a celebrity couple’s private bedroom behavior.

He is a very famous athlete. He is currently in a serious relationship with a female celebrity.

When they have sex, he wears his cleats. He likes the traction that it gives him, and she likes the way it feels when he presses the cleats into her skin.

We don’t know which one of the two came up with the idea. Hope those cleats are clean!

Popbitch Blind Item - Calm Before the Storm

It might be the quietest month of the year for news cycles, but the tabloids aren’t slacking. They’re busy working on a sensational story involving which national treasure? It has everything: affairs, a close friend who’s a drug dealer, and a semi-public bust-up with his missus about their celebrity cokehead mates...

Nikki Reed Talks Pregnancy

Nikki Reed is on the cover of this month's Fit Pregnancy Magazine, where she talks about having the most romantic pregnancy ever. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Priority Shift
"Being pregnant gave me instant perspective. It’s the first time in my life I’ve passed on anything that isn’t exactly what I want to be doing. Pregnancy is the moment you find your path and do what you want, when you want, how you want. I’m building and launching a company that’s been a dream of mine. I honestly feel better than ever.”

Body Confidence

“As an actress, I’m surrounded by chatter about my body. How do I look on the red carpet? Whose dress am I wearing? I’ve always rebelled against that, but being pregnant has given me this new and powerful appreciation for my body. Why do I suddenly have this layer of fat? Oh, it’s because my body needs to create breast milk. Why am I hungry and thirsty? Because my body is creating amniotic fluid. I want to write my pregnant body love letters, it’s so fucking cool!"

Good Hormones
“Ian jokes that he wants to keep me pregnant forever. I’m a very driven person with lots of energy. I can run multiple companies, read four books at once, and take a conference call while cooking dinner. But pregnant, I’m a better version of myself. I’m really chill and relaxed, which I think is the greatest blessing.”

Such a Cali Girl!

“I realize I may sound like the crunchiest person in the world, but once a month I go to a studio for a sound bath. The idea is to meditate while listening to the vibrations of big bowls. Everyone else in the room has a quiet, introspective moment, and I lie there trying not to laugh, because it’s party time in my belly. The baby moves around so much!”

Food Faves
“For the past eight years I’ve been a plant-based eater. Carbs are a huge staple of my diet and I try to be conscious of my intake, like, ‘Maybe you don’t want another stack of toast, since you’ve already had six pieces.’ Right now I really love cashew-based chocolate ice cream!”

Swoon-Worthy Hubby

“I normally love to cook, but since I’ve been pregnant I’ve lost interest. So all day I’m like, ‘Hey, what are we eating?’ Luckily, Ian’s a closet chef, and he’s also the sweetest man. When I told him I felt bad about always asking for food, he said, ‘Being able to do this for you is my favorite thing in the world.’ ”

Mom-Boss Mentality

“We’ll take the baby’s first month for ourselves. After the baby arrives, we’re doing one month of silence. Just the three of us, no visitors, and we’re turning off our phones too, so there’s no expectation for us to communicate. Otherwise, every five minutes it would be, ‘How are you feeling? Can we have a picture?’ You don’t get those first 30 days back, and we want to be fully present.”

Excitement Is Real

“I’m an early bird and took the pregnancy test before dawn. I didn’t have my glasses or contacts and I can’t see without them. I was squinting, thinking, ‘Are there any more lines?’ I yelled to Ian, ‘Get up!’ He ran into the bathroom, read the test, and we were so excited. We watched the sun come up together, just thinking, ‘Wow, we’re going to have a baby.’ ”

Robert Pattinson Hides in Trunks

Robert Pattinson is on the September cover of GQ Magazine. Here are some highlights from the accompanying interview:

On the paparazzi:
“People were like, ‘It’s fine, who cares? They’re just photos or whatever.’ They’ll say, ‘Just live your life.’ But that’s not life for me, if someone’s observing it.”

On how he learned to dodge the paparazzi:
[During the height of the Twilight madness, he had each of his friends call Ubers while he traded outfits with them in the restaurant bathroom, so that photographers wouldn’t know which car he got into, and then he sent all the Ubers in different directions, because drop dead. He rode around in the trunks of cars “constantly,” he says, because fuck you. At one point he had five rental cars and kept them, along with a change of clothes, in parking lots around town. If he was being followed, he’d dip into one of the lots, switch his clothing and his car, and leave. One day, coming home from Venice, he realized he was being tailed. He drove around for hours because he didn’t want anyone to know where his new house was. Finally, as the sun came up, he pulled over and got out of the car and approached one of the photographers. “You’ve gotten your pictures,” he said. “Can I please just go home now?” “No,” the guy told him. “My boss says I can’t come back until I know where your new house is. Sorry, man.” Pattinson never tried to negotiate or appeal to their humanity again.]

On publicity:
“It’s technically part of my job, but I’ve never been very good at it. I’ve never been that concerned if someone sees the movie If I could stay silent, I would.”

On Waterworld:
“It’s one of the greatest movies ever made, and everyone said it was bad. And for years everyone was like, ‘This is a terrible movie.’ And now people are watching it and the veil is being taken away.”

On whether or not he wants to be understood:
“I don’t. I want to be misunderstood. People are always changing, and the more you put something down in print, people form opinions and they’re constantly creating who they think you are. If you do something that contradicts that, or if you do something which goes out of that box, then you can look like a liar or something like that.”

Leah Remini is Still Coming for Scientology

Leah Remini recently sat down for an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Here's what she had to say:

On her Emmy nomination for Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath:
"When I was just acting, of course it was something you always wanted. Like, hey, we're on a show for nine years, you want some recognition from your peers...The [documentary subjects] don't get paid to do the show. The only thing they get is a hate website put out on them by Scientology. They get paid internet ads against them. Their families turn against them. Any award I get is for them."

On the impact of Aftermath's first season:
"We've heard from people who were inside Scientology, who told me, 'I watched your show. I went on the internet. I decided to leave. I am fighting for my children after watching your show.' We get tons of those. And it's those moments that you go, 'OK — we're doing something.' "

On wanting a federal investigation into Scientology:
"I'm talking about the FBI, the police, the Department of Justice, the IRS. If the FBI ever wanted to get anywhere, all they would need to do is do a raid. Everybody who's ever gone to Scientology has folders, and anything you've ever said is contained in those folders."

On Scientology's "abusive practices":
"Scientology policy dictates that children are grown men and women in little bodies. They believe a 7-year-old girl should not shudder at being passionately kissed. That's in Dianetics. If you join the Sea Org [a clergy class with a nautical heritage] as a child, your parents give you over to Scientology. Children are treated as crew. They are assets. And if a child is molested, that child and/or parent cannot go to the police, because it's against policy. They handle it in Scientology.

They will usually bring the molester in and give them spiritual 'auditing,' or counseling. [The victim] gets punished for 'pulling it in,' which is a Scientology term that means you did something that you're not telling the church about — and that's why you received the abuse. The child is usually made to do some kind of amends, to make up for what happened to them...there are no victims in Scientology. Anything that happens to you in Scientology happens to you because you made it happen."

On Elisabeth Moss:
"Elisabeth Moss believes that she can't talk to me. There's a thing in Scientology called 'acceptable truth.' It means you only say what's acceptable to the public. But she believes that I'm an antisocial personality — because I've spoken out against Scientology. So she isn't allowed to talk to me. And me knowing that, I wouldn't put her in the awkward position...I would [speak to her at the Emmys], of course. I don't hold anything against Elisabeth Moss other than she's continuing to support a group that is abusive and destroying families."

Aubrey Plaza Talks Instagram Stalking

Aubrey Plaza recently spoke to People at the premiere of her new movie Ingrid Goes Wild. Here's what she had to say:

“I did allow myself to indulge in going down those rabbit holes of Instagram and to really look at other people’s stuff way too long. In my real life I don’t do that, I have enough self control to go, ‘Okay, I’ve been on here too long — I don’t need to be looking at my ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend’s page.’ When I find myself looking at stranger’s pictures and going, ‘Oh, I wish I was doing what they were doing,’ I’m like, ‘Okay that’s enough, time to get off.’ ”

And on reuniting with her Parks and Rec costars at the film's LA premiere:
“It was awesome, I was so excited. I hadn’t seen Chris in so long and it was the best thing that could’ve happened. And Amy being there — she’s just the best. They’re like my family so it made the whole night for me.”

Ian Somerhalder Prepped for Fatherhood with Kitties

Ian Somerhalder recently spoke to People about how he prepped for fatherhood. Here's what he had to say:

On caring for kittens:
“To get up in the middle of the night to bottle feed eight kittens that would die without you, it gives you a sense of what it’s like to care for something that depends on you for its survival. It’s a very special thing. It’s a great beginner’s course.”

And on preparing for messes:
“I’ve learned to smile through cleaning endless amounts of [kitten] poop and pee.”

Don't miss Ian at this year's CatCon in LA on August 12th:
“It’s an amazing arena for people to get together with common threads and this is in love and support of one of the coolest amazing furry critters: cats.”

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Have Reproduced

It's finally happened. The moment that we have all been waiting for. Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed officially have a new favorite human! E! News reports that Ian, 38, and Nikki, 29, have welcomed their first child together. Their daughter Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder was born on July 25th, I'm assuming onto a bed of beautiful flowers in a field with the sun shining brightly (hence the middle name). The couple has been married since April 2015, and are, of course, The World's Most Romantic Couple. Stay tuned for the Nikki and Ian pregnancy articles that dropped in the last day or two!

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Practically Begging

This leading film actress is still very busy spinning tales about her marriage!

"That story (like all of the others) was planted by HER to make HER look good!

The Return of Jennifer Lawrence

After laying low and staying largely out of the press for the better part of this year, Jennifer Lawrence makes her return on the cover of Vogue's September issue. Here are some highlights from the accompanying interview:

On why she's currently living in a rental:
“When I first moved in [to my home], the house was crystalled out—crystals everywhere, and geodes. And I was like, ‘Please get rid of these; I don’t want people to come over here and think I’m a crystal person.’ Not that there’s anything wrong with that! But everyone told me, ‘You can’t do that. You can’t move them. You have to have the crystal lady who put them in move them. . . . ’ I just had all the crystals yanked out. Sold them. And then my fucking house flooded. I hate crystals.”

On being videotaped pole dancing at a birthday party in Austria earlier this year:
“My biggest fear from that whole thing was that people were going to think that I was trying to be sexy. Also, it looked like I had taken my shirt off. I was in a crop top. I did not take off my shirt. I’m on the phone with my lawyers, and everybody’s like, ‘Is there anything we need to know before it comes out?’ And I’m like, ‘No, it’s all there.’ I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”

On that nude photo hack:
“It’s scary when you feel the whole world judges you. I think people saw [the hacking] for what it was, which was a sex crime, but that feeling, I haven’t been able to get rid of it. Having your privacy violated constantly isn’t a problem if you’re perfect. But if you’re human, it’s terrifying. When my publicist calls me, I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, what is it?’ Even when it’s nothing. I’m always waiting to get blindsided again.”

On how she coped with stress during the arduous filming of her new movie Mother!:
“I hate talking about acting because it’s so hard to talk about it without sounding like a douche. I had to go to a darker place [in Mother!] than I’ve ever been in my life. . . . I didn’t know if I’d be able to come out OK...I ended up getting on oxygen. I have oxygen tubes in my nostrils, and Darren’s like, ‘It was out of focus; we’ve got to do it again.’ And I was just like, ‘Go fuck yourself.’ ... (The crew assembled a “Kardashian tent”—a refuge where she could get away from the work and decompress with her chatty friends from reality TV.) It was a tent that had pictures of the Kardashians and Keeping Up with the Kardashians playing on a loop—and gumballs. My happy place.”

On boyfriend and Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, who she started dating after the movie wrapped:
“We had energy. I had energy for him. I don’t know how he felt about me...When I saw the movie, I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is. For the past year, I’ve been dealing with him as just a human...I’ve been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I’m never confused with him...I normally don’t like Harvard people, because they can’t go two minutes without mentioning that they went to Harvard. He’s not like that...He just finds [my reality television obsession] so vastly disappointing. (laughs)”

Blind Gossip Exclusive Blind Item - Punching Her Face In

A media company recently held a party to celebrate young Hollywood stars.

Since they are all around the same age and in the same profession, you would have thought that they would have been happy to spend some time together. However, there was definitely some tension between two young actresses at the event.

"[First Actress] said “Warn me if you see that skank coming over here, so I can walk away instead of punching her face in!” Apparently they had some sort of fight a year or two ago over some actor they both liked and haven’t spoken since."

Both young ladies managed to get through the event without a single punch being thrown.

Emma Stone Changes the Game

Emma Stone is on the September cover of Marie Claire Magazine. Here are some highlights from her accompanying interview:

On what portraying Billie Jean King taught her:
"I would say playing Billie Jean was a bit of a game changer. I am very nervous to communicate my opinions a lot of the time, especially publicly…She [Billie] is so direct and confident in the way that she communicates what she believes is right. To be able to step into that was a pretty powerful experience. It's something that I still don't feel entirely comfortable with, but it was also one of the great parts about playing her."

On what was different about her role in Battle of the Sexes:
"I have never really considered the physicality of a person or of a character. Maybe because I hadn't played a real person–there wasn't someone who looked a specific way or whose hands moved in a certain way. So that was what I focused on more than anything: building from the outside in."

On speaking out for equality:
"There is so much power to our voices, and we need to speak out. That's something that I struggled with in the past, but it's very hard not to feel galvanized right now, politically or consciously."

On what gives her hope during these uncertain political times:
"Nobody is going down without a fight–for love and humanity and equality and coming together. It's so inspiring to see marches and beautiful writing and creative work. There's so much power and a grace coming out of so many people who have so much to lose, and the human spirit is incredible. That's worth a fight every day. And I want to learn how to fight better."

Ryan Murphy is Blazing the Path for Diversity

While there have been untold number of interviews lately of the lack of diversity in Hollywood, Ryan Murphy is doing something to address that problem. Ryan Murphy's Half Foundation was founded with the goal to see more than half of Murphy's television programming directed by women. The Hollywood Reporter reports that in its first year, 60% of Murphy's shows have been directed by women, and 94% of his shows meet the minority requirement.

In collaboration with FX Networks and CEO John Landgraf, The Half Foundation has "increased the director slate from 12 percent female/diverse directors in 2015 to 51 percent in 2016 for the network as a whole. That includes women and minorities serving as department heads and an all-female art department." So the next time someone tells you that there is no easy answer to the diversity problem in Hollywood, point them in Ryan Murphy's direction and tell them to replicate the excellent example that he is setting for the film industry as a whole.

Busy Phillips is Writing a Book

Page Six reports that actress Busy Phillips is writing a book, due out in 2018. The book will be a collection of essays about everything "from growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona and her painful and painfully funny teen years, to her life as a working actress, mother and famous best friend." Phillips also made a video announcement about the news on her Instagram:

Zendaya Wants You To Know That She Is Not Dating Tom Holland

Zendaya recently sat down for an interview with Variety, where she made it absolutely clear that she is definitely not dating her Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Tom Holland, despite media reports to the contrary. Here's what she had to say:

“He says when we first met it was super awkward because he went for a handshake and I went for a hug. But I don’t remember that. I thought it was cool. I was worried because he’s so much shorter than me. I was like, ‘Damn it! It’s going to be weird because I’m super tall.’ But then we ended up doing the audition sitting. So that was good...We are friends. No [romance]. He’s a great dude. He’s literally one of my best friends. This past how many months we’ve had to do press tours together. There’s very few people that will understand what that’s like at 20 years old.”

Kate Beckinsale is Back on the Market

Gabrielle Union Talks Not Having it All

Gabrielle Union is on the September cover of Health Magazine. Here's what she had to say in the accompanying interview:

Your character on Being Mary Jane is also funny, complicated, and true.
"What I love is we don’t insist she’s likable. She’s the friend who doesn’t always get it right, but she’s real. Like all of us, she hasn’t figured out how to have it all."

Do you think having it all is even possible?
"I don’t think so. A mother, to have it all, has to somehow also provide a check, also be superfreak Kama Sutra down to the ground, be a size double zero, be super present in the PTA but still putting in extra hours at work. It is impossible. There are literally not enough hours. To me, having it all is not having it all and it being OK."

As women, we put so much guilt on ourselves.
"We put guilt on ourselves because people are judging us. I have figured out how to say no and create comfortable spaces where I have real joy in my work, in my home, in my marriage, with the kids."

What is your philosophy on living well?
"You know, my grandma lived to be 110, and she drank alcohol, like, every day. I don’t drink every day. But if somebody’s like, "Shots!" I’m like, "Yes!" If someone says, "Bacon!" I’m like, "Yes!" She lived. I definitely live."

Gabrielle's Go-To...
Feel-sexy moment: "Out there on the deck, when I have a bikini on, holding a cold beer, and my husband's there. I'm not in hair and makeup. I'm just chilling at home."

End-of-the-day treat: "This might sound weird, but I come home and I sit on the toilet and I don't want to be rushed. I want to play my Words With Friends, scan Twitter, scroll through Instagram."

Belly blaster: "When I come back from vacation, I'll amp up the cardio. Also, there are so many awesome contraptions that can create the illusion that you haven't eaten. Double Spanx, waist trainers—they're super uncomfortable, but man, do they give you a silhouette."
